The committee (Human rights council) is talking about the role of infrastructure security in the fight against terrorism. Terrorism is the use of violence to pursue political aims. First of all : to install security cameras in airports to prevent terrorism. Cameras are not installed in all airports (in some not in all of them) so citizens could live in safety. Terrorism is a huge problem faced by the entire world. To install cameras in airports and other places like banks, schools… is the first thing anyone should do to prevent terrorism and to have extra security around them.
In the first amendment shown by the delegation of China is to remove clause number 3 that talks about the use cameras in banks, school and especially in airports because it simply repeats the same thing as clause number 5, but in the end it didn’t pass.
CONCLUSION:
- Set cameras to secure infrastructures.
- Secure all infrastructures with security men.
- Yaseen Hechmat, Sherifa Shaheen and Karma Helal.
